Rolling Stone's Current Issue With Boston Marathon Bomber On The Cover Banned In A Growing Number Of Stores (Video)

July 17. 2013

Music magazine Rolling Stone is under fire for featuring surviving Boston marathon bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, on the cover of its latest issue, in a Jim Morrison type fashion. People are angry over the decision, stating they are making him out to be a rock star by giving him a cover traditionally reserved for famous entertainers.

The description on the cover does not glorify terrorism, but the message of featuring him on it can send the wrong signal to some, albeit unintentionally. Tsarnaev doesn't deserve the cover. As such, major chains such as Walgreens and CVS pharmacies have banned the issue.
