Dwyane and son Zion

A number of people on social networking and in website feedback sections, are blaming Hollywood actress, Gabrielle Union, for her husband's son, Zion, becoming transgender at 12-years of age. Zion, the underage son of former NBA basketball player, Dwyane Wade, is now wearing full make-up, acrylic nails, female hair accessories and midriff bearing women's blouses, shirts and shoes. Zion, who is suffering from the mental disorder gender dysphoria, also wants to be called the female name Zaya.

Zion is being mocked and ridiculed online by many people, especially on social networking, which is sad and unnecessary. People need to stop doing so. He is just a child. He is mentally confused and is exhibiting the signs of someone who has been through trauma.

Twice married Gabrielle was the mistress of Dwyane, while he was married to high school sweetheart, Siohvaughn Funches Wade. Dwyane moved out of his marital home in Miami and bought a bachelor pad. Gabrielle began spending a significant amount of time in his new home.

This meant she was also spending time with his children (Zion was 2-years-old at the time), whom she also publicly referred to as her own, much to Siohvaughn's disgust. Siohvaugh felt that Gabrielle was trying to replace her as Dwyane's wife and the mother of his children. In essence that's exactly what she was doing.

Gabrielle did overstep her bounds in this matter. She stole someone's husband and attempted to become the mother of another woman's children against her wishes. She is not the mother of Wade's sons with Siohvaughn and never will be. At the end of the day, "What God has brought together let no man pull apart." There are consequences for doing so.

Dwyane and Siohvaughn went through a very acrimonious divorce that played out on the blogs and social networking. Siohvaughn refused to put up with Gabrielle cheating with Dwyane. She took the whole thing very badly and it is understandable. Marriage problems are more painful and amplified when they play out in the public domain for all to see.

Wade refused to marry Gabriel for years after his divorce from Siohvaughn. Some state Dwyane had even broken up with Gabrielle and began dating others. While others maintain he was cheating on Gabrielle, as he had previously cheated on his wife Siohvaughn.

Gabrielle and Zion

While casually dating others, Dwyane impregnated a woman by accident. Aja Metoyer deliberately stopped taking birth control and did not tell Dwyane, which resulted in a pregnancy. She gave birth to his third son, Xavier, who is now 6-years-old.

People on social networking and website feedback sections blame Gabrielle for Dwyane not spending much time with his son, Xavier, who is seldom seen in his life. Gabrielle even excluded the boy from family photos and Christmas cards. Gabrielle and Aja are at odds and it is due to claims the latter was cheating with Dwyane while he was still with the former. Little Xavier is being made to pay the price for it. The public perception online is that Gabrielle does not want him or his mother around and Dwyane caved to her wishes.

Gabrielle was still trying to marry Dwyane at the time, not realizing what was happening with him and Aja. Dwyane stated it was the hardest thing he ever had to do, regarding telling Gabrielle he had impregnated another woman. Gabrielle was devastated. For years Gabrielle had also tried to become pregnant for Dwyane, but it resulted in 9 miscarriages.

Gabrielle decided to marry Dwyane anyway and put out a story that they had broken up at the time he knocked up Aja. Gabrielle recently had a daughter through a surrogate. It is not clear if it was a donor egg, but Dwyane is certainly the biological father, as their daughter Kaavia looks just like him.

When Gabrielle tried to assume the role of mother to Siohvaughn's kids, she brought a Hollywood influence to their lives. She encouraged Zion to become transgender from a very early age. She took him to many places in the industry populated by transgender adults. It opened many doors for Gabrielle in Hollywood having a stepson she was molding into a transgender.   

However, there are serious dangerous regarding prompting and encouraging a child to become transgender, as medical science labels the gender confusion a mental disorder (gender dysphoria). Siohvaughn still refers to Zion as one of her sons. She also resents what Gabrielle has done in his life.

Many on social networking are slamming Gabrielle for pushing Zion into gender dysphoria, stating she has used him to further her career in Hollywood (which is largely gay), at the expense of the mental health of the child. Many on social networking and in website feedback sections are stating no child should be transgendered. There ought to be a law against making children transgender. Let them be kids.
