Naked Black Woman’s Home Raided By Cops Who Went To The Wrong Address (Video)

December 18. 2020

African-American social worker, Anjanette Young, was a victim of a serious police error that robbed her of dignity and peace in her own home. Young was in her home at night and naked, when police in Chicago wrongly raided her property.

A startled and hysterical Young was mortified and repeatedly telling the room full of police officers that they’ve raided the wrong home. They refused to listen and subjected her to the indignity of being filmed naked in her home, while a dozen male white officers violated her privacy, as their body cams rolled capturing all the footage.

Police tried to cover up the incident, but Young released the tape to a local news channel, as a part of her lawsuit, to show the human rights abuses she was subjected to and the fact the city refuses to make amends. Privacy and security in your home is a basic human right not to be transgressed by anyone.

Carelessness caused this raid. The suspect was next door with a tracking bracelet on. Had they properly checked they would have discovered they were entering the wrong unit. I hope Young is successful in her lawsuit, as this is inexcusable and she has suffered damages.
