Michael Jackson Investigation Continues

July 3. 2009

Joe and Michael Jackson

The federal investigation into the untimely death of pop singer Michael Jackson continues, as the government tracks down all his prescription meds and the doctors that inappropriately issued the cornucopia of drugs to him.

Many are hoping the doctors will face criminal charges, similar to what occurred in the Ana Nicole Smith case, where the model and sometimes actress, overdosed on a variety of prescription medications.

This is another case of celebrities getting their own way to their detriment. Jackson should have seen a proper, reputable psychologist, who could have prescribed the correct dosage of medicine for his depression and given him extensive counseling regarding the issues that plagued him.

Self-medicating, especially to such severe degrees, often creates overdoses and other ill side effects that wreak havoc on the health. The best thing one can do in such situations is to seek spiritual counseling and pray for God to help with depression and the pressures of life.

Jackson shaved a good 40 years off his life with prescription med abuse, that he admitted to taking while he was alive and friends have since spoken of his habit in the days proceeding his death.
