Yesterday, the New York Times published an article stating last week rapper and reality star, turned presidential candidate, Kanye West, secretly met with Jared Kushner, Senior Advisor to the President of the United States, and son-in-law to President Donald Trump. The meeting occurred in Colorado and Kushner brought his wife, Ivanka Trump.

Republicans are actively helping West in the election as an independent candidate, as he is a friend and ally of President Trump. West is in the race with the intention of winning. However, he is also aiding his friend Trump with splitting the vote in the presidential election, to take black votes from rival Democrats, Joe Biden and his running mate, Kamala Harris, who is part black. It's goal is to counter the Kamala effect.

President Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, met privately last weekend with Kanye West, the rapper who has filed petitions to get on the November ballots for president in several states.

The meeting took place in Colorado, where Mr. Kushner was traveling with his wife, Ivanka Trump, those familiar with the meeting said.
