John Lewis and Hillary Clinton in happier times, long ago when he endorsed her...last week...before taking it back.

Civil rights activist and Indian giver Rep. John Lewis, of Georgia, has rescinded his endorsement of Hillary Clinton and placed his support with senator Barack Obama for the Democratic nomination.

Did the check bounce? (LOL). Hey, you never know, she ran out of money and had to lend her campaign $5,000,000. I'm just playing.

I can see why she was mad in the debate last night, due to all these defections. Hillary even pulled the race card. Yes, Hillary, America is trying to hold the white ~~man~~ woman down.

Make up your mind - first it was the "vast right wing conspiracy" then the "Republican machine" now it's Obama. Hillary, it's politics, get over it. Surely you couldn't be that naive.

Civil Rights Leader Switches to Obama

Feb 27, 6:18 PM (ET) - WASHINGTON (AP) - Civil rights leader John Lewis dropped his support for Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential bid Wednesday in favor of Barack Obama. Lewis, a Democratic congressman from Atlanta, is the most prominent black leader to defect from Clinton's campaign in the face of near-unanimous black support for Obama in recent voting.

He also is a superdelegate who gets a vote at this summer's national convention in Denver. "John Lewis is an American hero and a giant of the civil rights movement, and I am deeply honored to have his support," Obama said in a statement. http://apnews.myway.com
