Floyd Mayweather Speaks Out After His Daughter's Arrest For Assault With A Deadly Weapon

April 8. 2020

Floyd Mayweather training his son

World champion boxer, Floyd Mayweather, 43, has spoken out after the arrest of his 19-year-old daughter, Iyanna Mayweather, on charges she stabbed her fiancée's ex-girlfriend who is the mother of one of his children, during a heated row. While not directly commenting on Iyanna's arrest, Mayweather posted on his Instagram page, "Never claimed to be perfect, but I strive to be the best father possible."

Big mouth rapper 50 Cent, who is constantly arguing with Floyd Mayweather on social networking, put in his 2 cents because that's all his opinion is worth.

Iyanna was arrested for stabbing Lapattra Lashai Jacobs in a fight over rapper NBAyoungboy. Iyanna told police Lapattra initiated the fight by grabbing and pulling her hair, after she was thrown out of NBAyoungboy's Houston, Texas house.

Warning: video contains profane language

Iyanna has reunited with NBAyoungboy, as seen in a video posted by the rapper. In the video, NBAyoungboy slammed Iyanna's dad. She has not denounced the rapper's comments in calling Floyd her "bi**h a*s daddy." Many online are shocked that Iyanna allowed NBAyoung boy to make such a statement about her dad. However, as stated previously on the site, I am of the belief Iyanna is afraid of NBAyoungboy.

Iyanna's mug shot

The Houston Chronicle newspaper reported, "Mayweather faces up to 20 years in prison, if convicted." Iyanna is claiming self-defense in the incident. She also has no previous convictions, which will aid in her defense.
