‘Helplessly In Love’ Full Of Cheating

Faith Evans and the Notorious BIG
I recently watched the “Helplessly in Love”
episode featuring the singer Faith Evans and her ex-husband, the
late rapper Notorious B.I.G., real name Christopher Wallace. The
program contained interviews with Faith, her mother, the Notorious
BIG’s friends and associates.
When BIG met Faith he fell in love with her at
first sight. He went around telling his friends and family she was
going to be his wife. Never mind he was dating longterm girlfriend,
Lil Kim, at the time and had been doing so for years. BIG placed her
in his rap group Junior Mafia. She later went solo.
Shortly after meeting Faith, BIG married her
without telling anyone initially. Lil Kim was devastated. However,
BIG inappropriately made Lil Kim his side chick and cheated with
groupies as well. Later, while Faith was pregnant with his child,
BIG also began dating a third woman, aspiring rapper Charli
Baltimore, who looked a lot like his wife.

Much like in the “Helplessly in Love” episode
featuring Andre Rison and the late TLC group member, Lisa “Left Eye”
Lopes, rapper Tupac was involved. Lisa was in love with Tupac and
Andre firmly believed she cheated with him.
Due to his paranoia, Tupac tried to seduce Faith
to upset BIG, wrongly believing he had a hand in his shooting at a
recording studio. He did a duet with Faith, paying her $25,000,
which BIG was not upset over. However, Tupac then released a song
claiming he had sex with Faith, which she denied. Tupac was a
promiscuous rapper. He dated a number of famous women and groupies.
Tupac even pursued the late legend, Whitney Houston, which upset her
boyfriend, Bobby Brown.
At the end of the day,
I am not of the belief BIG and
Faith belonged together. He married Faith because she is pretty and
was making money as a songwriter and singer. He saw her as a trophy.
I don’t doubt they fell in love, but I do not think they were the
right match. He also brought her so much heartbreak. The whole thing
was quite sad. So many famous men cheat and ruin their
relationships, then end up regretting it.
