Department Of Justice Orders The DEA To
Investigate George Floyd Protestors In AmericaJune 2. 2020
U.S. Attorney General William Barr is chief of the Department
of Justice
A report today stated the U.S. Department of Justice
has ordered the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to investigate
protestors regarding the death of George Floyd. Police officer Derek
Chauvin murdered Floyd by sadistically kneeling on his neck for nine
minutes, while two of his coworkers pinned him down. The incident
has sparked global outcry. There are ongoing protests all over the
world.
Buzz Feed news reported, "Floyd’s death 'has spawned
widespread protests across the nation, which, in some instances,
have included violence and looting,' said the DEA memo. 'Police
agencies in certain areas of the country have struggled to maintain
and/or restore order.' The memo requests the extraordinary powers on
a temporary basis, and on Sunday afternoon a senior Justice
Department official signed off."
It's unusual that the DEA and not the FBI would be
assigned this task. The FBI is America's investigative agency
(though they are corrupt as heck). The DEA usually handles drug
investigations regarding large quantities of narcotics.
The protestors were infiltrated by white
supremacists such as members of the KKK. They sought to and did at
times, inflict property damage during the protests, some of which
turned into riots. They wanted to disturb the peace. White
supremacists also attended protests to attack people of color and in
some instances were beaten by protestors comprised of blacks, whites
and Hispanics.
