America has hit a record high 235,056 coronavirus deaths and rising (Covid-19). Over 500,000 people in America contracted the coronavirus last week, which also symbolizes another record. 48 of 51 U.S. states were hit with a rising number of coronavirus cases.

Dr. Anthony Fauci stated America is still on the first wave, which is alarming for the nation, as this prolonged surge in infections is not a good sign (it is happening due to the fact some in the nation aren't following medical and science guidelines). It keeps picking up in speed and not cresting. That's not good.

The second wave of a deadly virus tends to be worse. Dr. Fauci anticipates the second wave will hit America this winter. As it intersects with influenza season, this is the perfect storm of medical trouble that will wallop the healthcare system in America that is already struggling under the strain of the virus.
