As America prepares for the flu season, which is several weeks away, coronavirus (Covid-19) data reveals 40,000 people within in the United States continue to contract the virus per day. Coronavirus has killed 200,000 people in America.

Doctors and scientists are concerned about medical shortages that will occur when coronavirus and the flu season in America collide. This can cost many lives. The virus has already killed thousands of healthcare workers in America and during milder months of the year.

The flu season will amplify those figures if hospitals and medical clinics do not have the proper protective gear and sanitizing supplies in place. Congress will need to provide more funding for healthcare establishments to properly protect themselves and patients. Congress also needs to invest a portion of the nation's tax money in creating more outlets to manufacture protective equipment for medical staff.
