Congress Clamps Down On Smoking in Films

June 16. 2009

The U.S. Congress is clamping down on smoking in films, glorifying what is a dangerous habit. I applaud this move, as glamorizing something that can give one cancer is terrible.

Some people are genetically predisposed to cancer. Environmental factors such as smoking, secondhand smoke, asbestos and other carcinogens, only serve to exacerbate preexisting problems.
