A Second Man Was Detained With Abdulmutallab

December 30. 2009

The FBI is changing its story regarding detaining a second man on the NWA-Delta flight that was the subject of an attempted Christmas Day bombing, by terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. It is now being said the federal government did detain a second man. Rather than lie and deny the story, all the FBI had to do was say "no comment." When they do such things that are later proven untrue, people will not believe them in the future, as it affects their credibility.

Report: FBI questions Haskell family about alleged Flight 253 passport accomplice

December 30, 2009, 6:03AM - Taylor-based attorney Kurt Haskell on Saturday told MLive.com he witnessed a well-dressed man on Friday try to help suspected Flight 253 terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab board the Detroit-bound flight in Amsterdam without a passport...

Haskell also told MLive.com on Saturday that he observed a second person being taken into custody at Detroit Metro Airport after bomb sniffing dogs alerted authorities to the man's carry-on bag. In an earlier comment, Haskell said he did not believe it was the same man who he saw try to help Abdulmutallab in Amsterdam.
