Recently, I read an excerpt of an interview, featuring the women of the reality show "Basketball Wives" speaking about their sexual histories and acts they engaged in for partners. Evelyn Lozada, who has slept with a number of famous married athletes, spoke of graphic sex acts she's engaged in with men she did not love, such as "tossing salad" and she wasn't talking about lettuce. But her marriage this year disintegrated after 40-days, as husband, Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson, has been cheating and beating on her. 

Then there's 19-year-old Selena Gomez, who over a year ago, ditched her purity ring to have sex and shack up with 18-year-old pop star Justin Bieber, who has been cheating on her. The two quietly broke up and reunited a number of times since.

A number of famous Playboy Playmates, considered beautiful and sexually liberated, have seen their relationships go up in smoke and very early, in spite of engaging in wild sex acts for their boyfriends. The same can be said for a number of singers and actresses.

Some women have compromised themselves doing things they did not want to or did not want to with that person or were not ready for, in order to keep a man, in relationships that fell apart rapidly anyway. Sex is supposed to be about love. Not money or keeping a famous man. When you start compromising yourself, you've lost who you are.
