Who Was The Smartest American President August 23. 2011 Barack Obama In reading an article about Barack Obama, where it was claimed he is considered by some, the smartest American president in history, it made me wonder, is this true. What about George W. Bush. Haha, only kidding - just thought I’d insert a little humor into the article. For a moment there, you all thought I was smoking something, huh. Bush was the only unintelligent head of state in American history and in all fairness, it didn't show up until after he was elected.
Bill Clinton Back to the article. Yes, Obama is smart, but Lincoln may have been the most intelligent. Then, there’s Bill Clinton. Don’t let the "Bubba" nickname fool you, as he is a smart university graduate. America’s economy was booming under Clinton, who was clearly good with numbers.
