Why is it that something keeps happening to one of Britney Spears' children when they are in her care. First, she drank hard liquor while pregnant leading many to speculate her youngest was suffering from Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.

Previously, she also dropped one of her toddlers on his head, causing him injury. She almost dropped him again on a New York city pavement. She later smoked a cigarette right in the two-year-old's face.

This year, she bit her youngest son - that's after grabbing and terrifying him, when she took both her boys hostage, requiring the police and paramedics to extract them from her and put her in a hospital psych ward…again.

Today, the Sun UK and The Daily Mail are reporting Spears' youngest son had a seizure, while in her care for the first time since she lost custody on child endangerment charges and being mentally ill.

Two other celebrity friendly outlets claim it was a violent allergic reaction that caused him to become unresponsive, but based on what prompted them to rush him to the hospital, it sounds like a seizure.

• Seizures are sometimes caused by head injury, such as being dropped on one’s head, hitting one’s head or being hit on the head in a manner that causes certain electrical activity to occur in the brain. For instance, Victoria Beckham’s son had an accident on an escalator, where he hit his head. Shortly after it was reported that he began having seizures.

• Extreme stress

While, seizures do not have to hinder one’s life, as there are medicines such as Lamictal that can control it, allowing many to lead normal lives, I don’t trust Britney’s proven negligence regarding her kids and wonder if it was an accident or an act of her mental illness that brought about her son’s hospitalization.

With an album to promote, being billed as her comeback, as the first one failed, I hardly think her handlers are going to give the world the truth regarding what truly transpired.

I don't care about Britney's career, but I do care about kids. Once again, as I have stated on this site many times, those children need to be protected, lest something terrible and life altering happens.

Britney's Son Jayden Rushed to the Hospital

What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend in Kentwood, turned out to be a nightmare when Britney Spears had to rush her 2-year old son Jayden James to the hospital due to a seizure.

According to the UK Sun, Jayden suffered an "expected seizure" on Sunday, and the family rushed him over to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Centre, which is about 25 miles from the Spears residence.

A source told the publication, “He was vague and unresponsive so Britney dialed an ambulance. But she was told it would take half an hour to arrive, and she was best trying to get Jayden to the hospital herself.”

Britney Spears rushed her two-year-old son to hospital after he suffered a suspected seizure during a family trip to her hometown.

Jayden James was raced to the emergency ward after lapsing into a 'vague and unresponsive' state.

The toddler fell ill yesterday afternoon at the family home in Kentwood, Louisiana. The entire Spears clan made the 25-mile dash to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Centre, Mississippi. Doctors were unable to pinpoint the problem straight away and kept the toddler in for overnight observation.

Britney Spears rushes son to hospital: reports

Britain's Daily Mail reported that the toddler suffered an apparent seizure at the family home in Kentwood, Louisiana, and was rushed to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in Mississippi.

A spokeswoman for the clinic declined to comment when asked about the report, and Spears' Los Angeles-based agent was not immediately available to comment.

Photographers outside the hospital took pictures of Spears' family coming and going there.

The trip marked the first time 26-year-old Spears had been allowed to leave California with sons Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden since their father Kevin Federline was given full custody in July.
