Factories, jobs data and Fed buying ahead Thu May 21, 2009 2:14am EDT NEW YORK (Reuters) - The woeful U.S. jobs picture and slumping factory sector will take center stage in the Treasury debt market on Thursday as investors assess how quickly the economy might make the transition from falling to flying. The data will come a day after minutes from the Federal Reserve's latest meeting showed the U.S. central bank downgraded its economic forecasts and suggested it might expand its purchases of Treasuries if conditions warranted... |
