Travis Scott Has
Been Sued By Hundreds Of People With Financial
Damages In The Billions Over Astroworld Music
Festival Deaths (Video)
November 12. 2021
It's a wrap for rapper Travis Scott.
After inciting violence at his Astroworld Music
Festival last week, resulting in the deaths of 11
concertgoers, he is being sued left, right and
center in court. Scott's fellow rapper, Drake, who
also performed with him during the deaths and
injuries at Astroworld, ignoring pleas to stop the
show, has been sued as well.
There are currently over 200
lawsuits and counting in the court system in
reference to the mass casualty event, with financial
damages in the billions. And Scott deserves it. This
is the third time he has gotten into trouble for
inciting violence at his shows, but he clearly
doesn't care, as he kept doing this. Only this time
it turned fatal, bringing him terrible publicity and
public scorn he does not like.
Scott was arrested in 2015 and 2017
for inciting violence at his shows. He encourages
fans to try to storm the stage and participate in
violent mosh pits. He uses the music and chants to
work the crowds up into reckless, violent behavior.
Some of the deceased from the
Astroworld Music Festival are minors. Some of the
surviving victims who have serious injuries are also
minors. This was all completely preventable. Bigger
concerts have gone forward free of fatalities.
Police ordered the concert be stopped, but Scott
refused and continued performing for 40-minutes
longer. This resulted in more deaths and injuries.
