Travis Scott's Astroworld Music Festival Results In 8 Deaths And
300 Injuries In Texas Leading To The Rapper Being
Slammed On Social Networking (Video)
November 8. 2021
Travis Scott's Astroworld concert in
Houston, Texas resulted in 8 people being crushed to
death and 300 injurred. Dead bodies were being
passed around in front of Scott, who refused to stop
the show for a long time, despite seeing people
screaming in distress and some laying there
lifeless. Scott is being heavily criticized for this
conduct on social networking.
The youngest victim, John Hilgert,
is age 14. He died from massive head injuries.
16-year-old Brianna Rodriguez also died at the
concert. The remaining six victims are ages 20 to 27
(Jacob Jurinek, 20, Franco Patino, 21, Axel Acosta,
21, Madison Dubiski, 23, Budy Pena, 23 and Danish
Baig, 27). My condolences to their loved ones.
Previously, Scott was arrested for
inciting crowds to violence at a concert in 2017.
This speaks to the safety issues present at his
shows that pose a risk to the public, as he
encourages fans to be aggressive via, "Mosh pits,
crowd surfing and stage diving." Lawsuits have
already been filed in connection with the concert
deaths and injuries this past weekend.
People on social networking are
slamming Scott and his girlfriend, reality star Kylie Jenner, who
was also present at the show. Scott's conduct
constitutes manslaughter, as he encouraged the
dangerous behavior that resulted in the deaths and
injuries.

For headliner at deadly show, chaos part of
popular formula

read - LOS ANGELES (AP) — Travis Scott’s high-energy
performances are known for being chaotic and
fun-filled shows with concertgoers encouraged to
take part in a raucous nature involving mosh pits,
crowd surfing and stage diving. On Friday night,
something went wrong.
At least eight people — between the
ages of 14 and 27 — were killed during a crowd surge
at the Grammy-nominated rapper’s Astroworld Festival
in Houston. A sizable group of the 50,000 in
attendance pushed toward the stage at NRG Park as a
timer clicked down to start the performance before
the chaotic scene began to ignite.
People in the crowd reported lots of
pushing and shoving during the performances leading
up to Scott’s set — which is normal at his shows.
He’s often encouraged fans to bypass security and
rush the stage, but none of those previous
situations resulted in fatalities.
“Travis Scott’s whole aesthetic is
about rebellion,” said HipHopDX editor-in-chief
Trent Clark, who has attended several of his
performances. “The shows have a lot of raging. With
the death of punk rock, hip-hop has indeed adopted
and patterned the new generation of mosh pits. It’s
not uncommon to see a lot of crowding and raging or
complete wild behavior at a Travis Scott show.”...
But with Scott getting into trouble
before for the two past shows, Shachtman thinks the
rapper will get a “hard second look.” In 2017, Scott
was arrested after he encouraged fans to bypass
security and rush the stage, leaving a security
guard, a police officer and several others injured
during a concert in Arkansas. In a separate
incident, he was sentenced to one year of court
supervision after pleading guilty to reckless
conduct charges stemming from a 2015 incident in
Chicago at the Lollapalooza music festival...
