The Wife Of Comedian Kevin Hart Gives Update After He Is Seriously Injured In Car Crash

On Sunday, September 1, 2019 actor and comedian Kevin Hart was seriously injured in a car crash that occurred in Malibu, California. Hart had purchased a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda car for his 40th birthday. He went for a ride in the car with producer, Jared Black, in the driver’s seat and his fiancée, Rebecca Broxtermant, as a passenger. The latter is the personal trainer of Kevin’s wife Eniko Hart.

At approximately 1:00AM the car carrying the three occupants crashed into a fence, then plunged 10-feet down into a ravine. The top of the car was smashed in. However, Hart, who was in the back seat, got out of the vehicle first. Reports indicate Hart’s security team picked him up at the scene of the crash and took him back to his home.

Hart was then transported from his home to the hospital with serious back injuries from the crash. He underwent surgery for his injuries and is in recovery. Hart’s wife issued an update after he underwent back surgery. She stated, “He’s great. He’s going to be just fine. He’s good. Everybody’s good, thank God. He’s fine. He’s awake.”

When asked if Kevin is joking and laughing again, Eniko flatly stated, “Nah.” The fact of the matter is back surgery is serious and is often quite painful. Back injuries and the accompanying surgeries can also be life changing. Here’s hoping Hart has a good recovery.
