The Real Housewives Of Atlanta is a reality show about five reportedly well to do Georgia socialites. I had the traumatic experience of seeing this show and I must state it is very materialistic and contentious.

At times I couldn’t believe these women were friends and at other points I thought someone was going to have to dial 911, because a fight was about to erupt.

Three of the wives are married to professional athletes. One of the three was married to R&B singer Keith Sweat, who has custody of her children, though she says there was no misconduct on her part.

Lisa Wu Hartwell

The fourth housewife, Kim, is actually a mistress having an affair with married real estate developer Lee Najir, which was a poorly kept secret. I know you’re going to have to dodge his wife in Atlanta.

The fifth housewife is the standout cast member NeNe Leakes. Fox News in Atlanta did an investigative report on NeNe and it wasn’t pretty. They stated the image portrayed on the reality show regarding NeNe being rich is false.

Kim

They’ve discovered her husband Greg owned a rental management company that is now closed and he owes over $100,000 to the IRS and other entities. They were recently the subject of court filed eviction papers regarding their rented Sugarloaf home in Duluth, Georgia.

Deshawn and Lisa

T-Boz of TLC has a home in the same community that has been foreclosed on and Michael Vick put his property up for sale in the Sugarloaf subdivision in an attempt to ease his financial troubles.

The Leakes have been sued by different entities seeking reimbursement over business deals gone wrong with court judgments awarded against them.

In response to Fox News’ claim they are faking being wealthy on the reality show and it represents fraud, NeNe Leaks responded they did not say they were rich, but “comfortable.”
