The Queen Wants Prince Charles To Succeed Her As Head Of The Commonwealth But Labour Party Leader Jeremy Corbyn Disagrees April 20. 2018
Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles This week is the meeting of the Commonwealth nations in London, England. However, it has been completely overshadowed by the Windrush scandal, regarding Britain’s incumbent Conservative party Prime Minister, Theresa May, destroying immigration landing cards of Caribbean citizens, who were given permanent residency decades ago, in exchange for rebuilding Britain after World War II and filling job shortages. May has been engaging in unlawful mass deportations, costing innocent people thousands in legal fees and their hard earned pensions, in what can only be described as appalling and disgusting human rights abuses of a criminal nature. Queen Elizabeth II is head of the Commonwealth and has stated her son Prince Charles should succeed her in this unearned post. The question is why. What has Charles or Elizabeth done to earn this prestigious post. They have no legislative experience or understanding of economics. Furthermore, the Commonwealth is largely comprised of minorities and the Royal family and some politicians in the British government, such as Prime Minister Theresa May, Home Secretary Amber Rudd and Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, are racists who have engaged in racially insulting behavior, which in some cases harmed the rights and interests of people who are from Commonwealth nations outside of Britain. The aforementioned individuals, and former British Prime Minister, David Cameron, engaged in acts that have proven destructive and damaging to people who are from Commonwealth nations outside of Britain. Under these individuals, the British government has treated the Commonwealth more like enemies than friends, in completely unprovoked acts of hatred, malice and xenophobia. I warned on the site last year that the British government (Cameron, May) and their cohorts like Rupert Murdoch, are a danger to Caribbean people and now you see it with your own eyes via the Windrush scandal (Madonna's Criminal Conduct At The BBC In Britain Has Nasty Racist Slavery Connotations To It (Anthony Joshua, Daniel Kaluuya)). As stated on the site previously, May created a proudly announced, self-styled "hostile environment" for immigrants in Britain and the word hostile means to treat and view someone as an "enemy." I've been stating it for the past month, the British government has been treating us in the Commonwealth like we're their "enemies" despite the fact we rebuilt Britain after World War II when they asked and fought in wars for them when they requested us to do so (The British Government's Drastic New Immigration Policies Breaking Up Families In Detaining Caribbean People Who Are Lawfully In Britain). And what have we gotten for that loyalty? May's acts of "hostility" racial insults from the royal family and Boris Johnson, theft of international assets pillaged from our Commonwealth nations, stolen pensions (May unlawfully blocking Windrush people's hard earned pensions), as well as illegal deportations that break British law (Windrush). And this is the British government's definition of friendship? As the phrase goes, "If this is how you treat your friends, I'd hate to see how you treat your enemies." The current Windrush scandal is one incident. Another occurred a few years ago regarding the British government trying to purge Gurkhas from Britain, despite the fact they’ve fought in wars for the country for 200-years. Gurkhas were used in wars to help Britain but the government deemed they were not good enough to be British citizens…also known as slavery. It took a scandal and petitioning to resolve the problem. It’s just one offense after another. Insult upon insult on Commonwealth citizens. As a person of color (black) who is a Commonwealth citizen from the Caribbean, I’m not going to condone or look the other way to that type of ill will from some in the British government. It has proven a danger to our health, safety and financial well being, because as stated above, Windrush immigrants have each lost thousands in legal fees, their pensions, healthcare and some their homes and flats. It is a danger to the Commonwealth in conduct that is inexcusable. The Commonwealth cannot be subjected to the racist whims of select archaic politicians and royals, whose behavior shows they are operating under institutionalized racism. Therefore, the royal family should not be head of the Commonwealth. It is not in the best interest of the Commonwealth, comprised of many people of color.
The Royal Family This reoccurring theme from the British government of help me when I need it for my financial enrichment but go home you have no rights has occurred too often for it to be a coincidence. It’s deliberate and dangerous. There is something fundamentally wrong within the system, including the royal family, that these racist incidents keep occurring. At the heart of the aforementioned institutions is an unyielding, insuppressible racism and it is alarming, very offensive and jarring in modern times. Whenever there is an offense that appalls members of the Commonwealth, liquor Liz or adulterer cheating Charles trot out to wave and grin at the Commonwealth, as if that makes it okay…and the act has worn tired and very thin. Enough. The days of the scandal prone royal family being head of the Commonwealth should come to a close. How do you think it feels for us in the Commonwealth as people of color being headed up by a royal family constantly making racial slurs and engaging in racially offensive conduct. It is appalling. We don’t want that. Based on their speech, royals like Prince Philip, Princess Michael of Kent and Prince Harry, think racism is cute and funny, but it is ignorant, ill-mannered and uncouth. British Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn suggested the royal family step down as head of the Commonwealth and allow other nations within the group to take turns leading. It’s not a bad idea. However, the Commonwealth does not need a leader. It can simply be a group of nations, including Britain, in an alliance. Similarly, in the Caribbean, some of the countries who are in the Commonwealth are also members of CARICOM, which is a political and trade alliance of nations in the region. Even in my home country of Jamaica, if one looks up who is the head of state, it doesn’t state the Prime Minister. It states Queen Elizabeth II, who has nothing to do with Jamaica. She is not doing the work of running Jamaica and her family’s well-documented racist behavior is not in-keeping with our values or in our best interests as a nation that is mostly comprised of minorities. Each respective and successive Jamaican Prime Minister is the one doing the work and that’s whose name should be listed as head of state. Even in Britain, I don’t understand why the royal family’s name needs to be on everything. Why does that family need for their name to be on every single thing. Everything is “Her Majesty’s this” or “Her Majesty’s that.” Why can’t it just say British Mail or British Inland Revenue. However, that’s the British people’s decision to make and I respect that. STORY SOURCE Prince Charles should not automatically become next head of the Commonwealth, says Jeremy Corbyn Boris Johnson and Baroness Scotland join Labour leader in suggesting 53 member countries should decide successor to the Queen 4 days ago - The Prince of Wales should not automatically take over from the Queen as the head of the Commonwealth, Jeremy Corbyn has said. The Labour leader said the 53 countries of the association should choose who succeeds the Queen, suggesting the holder of the post could be decided on a rotational basis. Foreign secretary Boris Johnson, pressed on BBC1’s The Andrew Marr Show as to whether he would like to see Charles take on the role, replied: “That is a matter for the 53.” Mr Corbyn earlier told the same programme: “I think the Commonwealth ought to really get a chance to decide who its own head is in the future. The Queen clearly is personally very committed to the Commonwealth but after her I think maybe it’s a time to say well actually the Commonwealth should decide who its own president is on a rotational basis.”...
