The Prince And Michael Jackson Rivalry
Was It Friendly Or Otherwise
October 26. 2011
Michael Jackson
A number of times before his death, the late pop singer,
Michael Jackson, made reference to his contemporary, Prince. Jackson named
his son after Prince, which the latter took a dig at on stage. Jackson also
briefly spoke about Prince in his final concert documentary "This Is
It."
Prince
The pop superstar clearly regarded Prince and his musical
abilities, even attempting to outdo his Guinness World Book record for the
most performances at the O2 arena in London, England. This tidbit came up in
the involuntary manslaughter trial of his doctor, Conrad Murray, who
overmedicated and overdosed him in 2009.
