The FBI Caught Spying On Student Using GPS October 9. 2010
Taking advantage of a recent U.S. court ruling, the FBI attached a GPS tracking device, to the car of 20-year-old Arab, American born, Yasir Afifi and began following all his movements. His dad was prominent in the Muslim-American community, before he died in Egypt. It is thought to be apart of the reason the FBI has been trailing his son. No explanation has been given for the FBI spying on the university student, but they did show up at his apartment, demanding their GPS tracking device back, after the young man and a friend removed it and posted pictures of the apparatus online.
