The Los Angles Times is reporting the family of 14-year-old murder victim, Celeste Rivas Hernandez, are in shock at the details of her grisly killing by singer, D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke, 21. D4vd has been charged with the murder of the teen he had living in his rented Hollywood Hills mansion and was having sex with in acts of statutory rape.

After a long argument D4vd stabbed Celeste and dismembered her body with a chainsaw and "other tools." D4vd cut her body in half at the waist, removed her limbs and head, and two of her fingers, one of which had a tattoo of his name. She was found in the trunk of his car in two black bags.

In an interview with the newspaper, the family's attorney, Patrick Steinfeld stated, "There are no words to express the indescribable pain the family is experiencing right now. They still have bills to pay and jobs they go to every day. All they want is time to grieve and heal."

The attorney further stated, "I originally encouraged the Rivas Hernandez family to speak publicly throughout the criminal process. They agreed with the full support of the Los Angeles Country District Attorney, Nathan Hochman. However, in light of the gruesome details emerging almost daily, the family has decided not to make any statements now or in the future."

The family needs to quickly move to sue D4vd before all the money goes to his legal defense. D4vd should have to get a public lawyer rather than an expensive defense attorney. D4vd has made a few million dollars and has more royalties coming in, which can easily be consumed by legal fees. Even though the criminal trial has just begun, the family can prove he illegally harbored Celeste, a minor, as police went to his property, removed her from the house, and informed him of her age. The text messages reveal there was sexual activity between D4vd and underage Celeste.

After a big argument he sent a car to bring her back to his house. Then she was never seen on heard from again. There is enough evidence for a civil lawsuit regarding D4vd sexually abusing a minor and illegally having her in his home (while missing flyers had been posted in different parts of California pleading for her return). Don't wait until the criminal case is completed. By then the money will be gone by then. Additionally, check to see if he has transferred any assets to family members.

D4vd used Celeste for inspiration in his songs and music videos, sexually exploited her, then killed the underage girl in gruesome fashion. Neither he or his family should financially profit from that. The money should go to Celeste's family. It will not bring her back but it is some measure of justice. To Celeste's family, I'm very sorry for your loss.
