Tony Cephus, the father of rapper, Offset, has leapt to his son’s defense, in the face of credible cheating allegations against him, in reference to wife and rapper Cardi B. Offset has cheated on Cardi B with groupies. Rather than acknowledge his son, Offset, has done something wrong and heartbreaking concerning his wife Cardi B, Cephus has chosen to blame the victim.

Cephus referred to her as "hotheaded" and also stated, “Right now, my family is going through a tumultuous time. What you see in the media is only the tip of the iceburg. Social media is a powerful tool, but certainly no place for family situations; however, our youth, specifically my son’s wife doesn’t understand that. She seems to want to take everything to social media without regard to the devastation it has on others.”

Men with this mindset are one of my pet peeves. They raise their sons to act macho and to be a ladies man, messing around with different women, with no thought to others’ feelings. Then they date and ruin women’s lives with the rampant cheating. It gets worse when men who are raised to think they are to be playboys, decide to get married and their father’s failures become their wives’ nightmare, regarding the broken, dysfunctional and disloyal human being they raised.

Men who raise their sons to have many women are setting them up for failure and public embarrassment (as seen with Offset being slammed all over social networking). Offset married Cardi, a pretty, funny and (now) rich woman from her reality TV and music career. Yet, he wasn’t satisfied (like so many famous men whose cheating proves their financial and social undoing). He has been cheating with groupies and golddiggers, even knocked one up last year. Now a second groupie, Instagram model Summer Bunni, is stating they had an affair and she is pregnant.

No woman wants a man behaving like that. However, famous men believe their fame means women have to put up with it. No sir. Women who have something going for themselves will not put up with that mess. However, money seeking groupies will look the other way to it because they want to drain the famous man’s bank account.

Cardi looks good and has tens of millions of dollars. Many men find her attractive. There are loads of men on social networking who would have gladly married her, but she chose Offset because she loves him. He owed her more than bringing all this scandalous publicity on their marriage and worst of all the heartbreak.

Therefore, Offset’s dad needs to be looking at where he went wrong and the mere fact he is blaming the victim, Cardi, says he definitely went wrong. He needs to tell his son he is in the wrong and stop cheating on his wife. Cardi is an attractive woman, with her own money, who made herself available to husband Offset. She kept bragging about their sex life online.

However, Offset behaved like the standard famous man who has too many options for his own good. And make no mistake, his promiscuous behavior has cost him fans and brought bad publicity on his group, the Migos, that they did not need. Give your son the lecture, not his wife.

Some of you right now are failing in how you are raising your kids. You see your sons and daughters behaving in a promiscuous manner and rather than correct them, you encourage it. What if your child contracts a deadly sexually transmitted disease and passes it on to others while living that wild lifestyle. What if your child wrecks someone’s marriage via cheating. People should encourage their offspring to be loyal and faithful, not a gigolo or skank.
