The Academy Awards Demanded
Actor Will Smith Leave After He Violently Slapped
Autistic Comedian Chris Rock Across The Face But He
Refused
March 30. 2022
Chris Rock was slapped across the face by Will
Smith
Hollywood actor and cultist, Will
Smith, had a psychotic break during the Academy
Awards telecast this past Sunday. Will insanely went
on stage and slapped comedian Chris Rock across the
face in a violent and degrading manner.
It was appalling. This was all over
an innocuous joke about Will's wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith,
and her shaved head. Then, Will went back to his
seat and cursed at Chris from the audience in
stating "Keep my wife's name out of your f**king
mouth!"
Today it was reported the Academy
told Will to leave the venue, but he refused. The
Academy stated, "Things unfolded in a way we could
not have anticipated,” the academy said. “While we
would like to clarify that Mr. Smith was asked to
leave the ceremony and refused, we also recognize we
could have handled the situation differently.”
Smith remained at the show and
collected the Oscar for "Best Actor" which as stated
previously on the site, in my humble opinion, should
have gone to Denzel Washington. Will won for the
biopic "King Richard" which is about the life of
Richard Williams, who is the father of tennis greats
Venus Williams and Serena Williams. However, in my
opinion, Will failed to capture Richard Williams
correctly. Will appeared weak in the role.
Growing up as a tennis fan and
following the circuit via televised matches,
magazines, newspapers, television interviews and
internet websites, I remember all the racial hatred
Richard and his daughters faced in the early 2000s
from select racist fans and a few tennis players,
like Martina Hingis.
Some were really cruel to the
Williams sisters for being black in a predominantly
white sport, even when they were kids. They went
through some stuff. You would have thought it was
the Civil Rights era regarding the abuse some people
directed at the Williams.
Richard was not weak and feeble (as
portrayed by Will in the film). Richard was not
taking any of the racial abuse lying down. He was
not weak. He spoke out and held his head up high.
Will got the character wrong.
"King Richard" was also missing many
key parts. The trailer was not good either. This is
a part of why the ticket sales were lackluster.
Nonetheless, the other actors in the film were quite
good and it was a very interesting story to watch,
due to the Williams family's extraordinary life
story.

Academy: Will Smith refused to leave Oscars
after Rock slap
Wed, March 30, 2022, 6:18 PM - NEW
YORK (AP) — The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and
Sciences on Wednesday said that Will Smith was asked
to leave Sunday's Oscar ceremony after hitting Chris
Rock but refused to do so.
The academy’s board of governors met
Wednesday to initiate disciplinary proceedings
against Smith for violations against the group’s
standards of conduct. The academy said disciplinary
action for Smith could include suspension, expulsion
or other sanctions.
Many have focused on why Smith was
allowed to remain seated front row in the Dolby
Theatre after the incident. On Wednesday, the
academy suggested that it attempted to remove the
actor from the audience.
“Things unfolded in a way we could
not have anticipated,” the academy said. “While we
would like to clarify that Mr. Smith was asked to
leave the ceremony and refused, we also recognize we
could have handled the situation differently.”...
