News broke yesterday that singer and reality star Tamar Braxton
filed for divorce from her husband, music executive Vince Herbert, after 9-years
of marriage. The couple have a 4-year-old son, Logan. As reported years ago on
the Judiciary Report, Vince has hit Tamar, in acts of
domestic

called to a hotel regarding

Tamar fighting each other. Tamar bit Vince in self-defense and left the
hotel room.
Vince is facing significant money problems. His main recording
artist, Lady Gaga, has experienced a significant career decline over the past
few years. He is also on the hook regarding a $4,000,000 legal judgment Sony
Music obtained against him in court. Considering money was the main thing that
attracted Tamar to Vince, the divorce filing is not a surprise. She put up with
years of physical abuse because Vince gave her money, bought a mansion for them
to live in, lavished her with expensive gifts and put together a hit album
for her after her first solo outing a decade prior flopped. Money problems and a
diminished presence in the music industry is not something Tamar is happy with
