A suspect has been arrested in the
murder of Migos rapper, Takeoff, real name Kirshnik
Khari Ball. Club promoter, Patrick Xavier Clark, 33,
was arrested by police for shooting Takeoff dead at
a bowling alley in downtown Houston (Texas).
Takeoff did not participate in a high stakes dice
game held by dubious music industry individual, J.
Prince Jr. However, after an argument broke out,
started by Prince Jr's entourage, shots rang out.
Takeoff was shot in the head and through the back,
which penetrated the chest cavity.
The Migos
Clark was arrested in Houston, while
trying to flee to Mexico. The suspect paid for an
expedited passport and bought two plane tickets to
Mexico. He was caught with a large quantity of cash
in his possession as he tried to flee. Police used
CCTV cameras, a wine bottle with his fingerprints,
and bullet casings, to tie Clark to the crime. Bail
has been set at $2,000,000.
22-year-old Cameron Joshua, also known as aspiring
rapper, "Lil Cam" was also arrested and charged with
being a felon in possession of a weapon. Social
networking originally identified Lil Cam as the
shooter. However, police have traced the crime to
Clark based on ballistics tests.
Patrick Xavier Clark
Both Joshua and Clark have ties to
J. Prince's Mobb Ties label, know for being in the
middle of situations where people in the industry
have been murdered. The outfit also have ties to
organized crime in Hollywood, namely the mafia.
ABC News reported of Clark, "The
confrontation that left Takeoff dead may not be the
first that resulted in Clark being investigated. An
Eyewitness News search of criminal records uncovered
Clark's connection to a February 2018 shooting at a
nightclub along North Shepherd Drive. A victim in
his 50s died when a customer opened fire inside the
business, prompting security guards to fire back,
police said. Clark emerged as a suspect in the case,
but a Harris County grand jury found there wasn't
enough evidence to indict him."
