It seems 50-year-old pop music lip-syncer Madonna fancied herself a great choice for a Mattel Barbie doll. However, when she instructed her mindless representatives to approach the famed toymaker, they abruptly cut her off, rebuffing her bandwagon jumping idea.

Apparently, Mattel didn't want to confuse its young, impressionable audience, with a steroids crazed, testosterone taking, manly looking, plastic surgery botched she-man, whose songs they know nothing about, as her time has past, relegated to irrelevancy in the annals of pop culture.

Furthermore, they probably didn't want to encourage steroids use among children, with startled parents picking up the doll in stores and exclaiming, "This Barbie is on steroids!"

"Barbie maker Mattel turned down Madonna's idea of creating a Madonna Barbie to celebrate Madge's great contribution to pop culture and music.

According to the source, the company's polite "no thanks" infuriated Madonna especially if take into account that Victoria's Secret pregnant angel Heidi Klum got her Barbie a little bit more than a month ago as a part of Mattel's Blonde Ambition Collection.
