Singer Chris Brown Arrested In Florida For Felony Battery On A Photographer

Troubled R&B singer Chris Brown was arrested last night in West Palm Beach, Florida, after completing his concert at the Coral Sky Amphitheater. Brown is currently on a tour of the United States to support his album "Heartbreak On A Full Moon" which did not do well on the music charts. Touring remains a lucrative venture for Brown, who makes millions as a headliner.

Police were waiting for Brown to complete his set and they immediately arrested him when he left the concert stage. The arrest was in connection with an outstanding warrant. In 2017 Brown punched photographer Bennie Vines at Club Aja in Tampa, Florida. The photographer pressed charges. Though Brown was in Miami, Florida several week ago on vacation, it was easier to arrest him at the concert. Brown was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and posted $2,000 bond. Brown must learn to control his temper or these incidents will continue to happen.

Chris Brown Arrested in Connection With a 2017 Nightclub Dispute

July 6, 2018 - The R&B singer Chris Brown was arrested Thursday night after a concert in West Palm Beach, Fla., on a charge of felony battery stemming from an April 2017 incident in Tampa. He is accused of punching a photographer, Bennie Vines, at an event there at Club Aja, according to the police.

Officials notified Mr. Brown’s team of the imminent arrest before the concert, said Eric Davis, spokesman for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. The authorities escorted him out of the Coral Sky Amphitheater shortly after the concert and booked him into the Palm Beach County Jail at 11 p.m. He was released at 11:52 p.m. after paying a $2,000 bond.
