Joann Marie Slater, been arrested for allegedly shooting her
boyfriend Jonathan Wright in the head, after discovering he was
reportedly cheating on her. Ann Marie was taken into custody in
Atlanta, Georgia where the incident occurred at a local hotel.
Ann Marie, who released a 2018 single "Secret" and
another in 2019 entitled "Come Over" was in a hotel room with her
boyfriend when the incident occurred. Here's where things get
sketchy. Ann Marie is being held on criminal charges of "aggravated
assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm during the
commission of a felony and simple batter."

However, Anne Marie, according to police reports,
is stating a "gun fell off of a table in the hotel room which caused
the gun to go off hitting the victim." The problem is another
bullethole was found "in a cabinet with another in a door." Did the
gun fall off the table twice, then. That would be highly unlikely.
The victim did not die and was able to answer
questions from police regarding the dangerous incident. He was
transported to the hospital by paramedics, where he received
treatment. A press obtained 911 tape revealed Ann Marie pleading for
help and telling Wright "I love you."

Ga. — R&B singer Ann Marie is facing several charges following her
Dec. 2 arrest in connection with the shooting of an unarmed Black
man in the head in a hotel room on the outskirts of Atlanta.
Arrest records indicate the 25-year-old Chicago
artist, born Joann Marie Slater, was charged with aggravated assault
with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm during the commission
of a felony and simple battery, Billboard reported. According to Fox
News, Slater allegedly told responding officers that the 24-year-old
victim, identified later as a friend with whom she grew up in
Chicago, was shot after a “gun fell off of a table in the hotel room
which caused the gun to go off hitting the victim.”

judgment calls here but it appears that the singer and songwriter
currently living up to the names of her audio projects after
allegedly shooting her boyfriend in the dome piece for cheating.
While the rumors haven’t been confirmed, Gossip In The City alleges
that Ann Marie shot her boyfriend while he was off in a hotel
bathroom allegedly texting other women.
When the unnamed man appeared from the bathroom,
the shooting took place then. One man on Twitter claims he’s friends
with the boyfriend, who is recovering from the wounds writing, “The
guy is my mans and he made it through surgery. It’s not calboy” in
response to a fan wondering if the boyfriend in question was rapper
Calboy...
