Entrance to Miami International Airport A security breach occurred at Miami International Airport, when 9 people went from the airplane to the sidewalk, claiming their luggage, but skipping U.S. Customs, via a side door that was left open. Security breach under investigation Posted: Today at 6:55 am EST - MIAMI (WSVN) -- Authorities are investigating a security breach that took place at Miami International Airport Thursday night. Nine passengers from an American Airlines flight from Honduras were able to pass into the airport without going through customs. Officials said a door open at a gate allowed those passengers to walk through. The passengers were rounded up and sent through customs. The mistake is under investigation. |
