Sarah Palin's $150,000 Fashion Bill October 22. 2008
Sarah Palin: but I look good, though! Republican running mate Sarah Palin's clothing bill is rivaling that of the late, beautiful Princess Diana and has reportedly hit $150,000.
This is where the RNC is not being savvy. Designers would give pretty Palin clothes for free, in exchange for the publicity Sarah wearing their designs would garner for their respective labels.
Palin family Provided crazy, neurotic, deranged liberals in Hollywood don't call designers and threaten them not to, as they basically have no lives other than to do such insane, petty things. $150G From GOP For Fashions For Palins? RNC Said To Have Shelled Out At Least That Much For "Campaign Accessories" For Family The RNC is being criticized for buying designer duds for Sarah Palin while the rest of the country goes without, reports Michelle Gielan. Since she's been on the campaign trail, Sarah Palin has received a lot of attention over her wardrobe, her hair, even her glasses. Now, Politico.com is reporting the Republican National Committee has spent more than $150,000 on clothes and accessories for Palin and her family... Spending records filed with the Federal Election Commission and obtained by Politico show the RNC paid for "campaign accessories" from upscale department stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, where nearly $50,000 was spent, Neiman Marcus, $75,000, and $4,700 for hair and makeup... Politico told CBS News it hasn't been able to identify any similar expenditures on the Democratic side. |
