Rod Rosenstein Slams James Comey (Video)
May 15. 2019
Former FBI Director, James Comey, and former
Attorney General, Rod Rosenstein, have been getting into a very
public war of words. Comey overstepped his bounds at the Federal
Bureau of Investigation (FBI), making pronouncements on criminal
cases in what was the job of the Attorney General at the Department
of Justice. Comey also leaked documents to the press, which was
inappropriate. This misconduct resulted in U.S. President Donald
Trump lawfully terminating Comey from his post and with the approval
of Rosenstein.
Comey, still bitter about hearing the words
“You’re Fired” from Trump (LOL) has been slamming the president and
Rosenstein every chance he gets. While it is amusing watching Comey
and Rosenstein fight, it’s getting embarrassing for the FBI and DOJ.

Comey stated of Rosenstein, “I think people like
that, like Rod Rosenstein, who are people of accomplishment but not
real sterling character, strong character, find themselves trapped.
And then they start telling themselves a story to justify their
being trapped which is, 'Yeah, he's awful but the country needs
me.’”
Rosenstein has now retorted, “So I do not blame
the former director for being angry. I would be too if I were in his
shoes,” Rosenstein said. "But now the former director seems to be
acting as a partisan pundit, selling books and earning speaking fees
while speculating about the strength of my character and the fate of
my immortal soul. I kid you not."

Rosenstein slams Comey for becoming a 'partisan pundit'
05/14/2019 08:06 AM EDT - Former Deputy Attorney
General Rod Rosenstein criticized former FBI Director James Comey
for becoming a “partisan pundit” in the two years since he was fired
by President Donald Trump. In some of Rosenstein’s first extended
remarks since leaving the Justice Department last week, the former
deputy attorney general called Comey’s dismissal, which set off a
firestorm in Washington and resulted in the appointment of special
counsel Robert Mueller, “reasonable under the circumstances,” citing
Comey’s handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation…

James Comey: Rod Rosenstein doesn’t have ‘sterling
character, strong character’
May 10, 2019 09:39 AM - Former FBI Director James
Comey took a swipe at former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein
for not having “strong character.” “I think people like that, like
Rod Rosenstein, who are people of accomplishment but not real
sterling character, strong character, find themselves trapped. And
then they start telling themselves a story to justify their being
trapped which is, 'Yeah, he's awful but the country needs me,’”
Comey, who was fired by Trump from the FBI in May 2017, said in an
interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper Thursday evening.
“Republicans are doing this in Congress. ‘Yeah,
it's awful, but if I speak I'll get defeated and this nation needs
me here right now.’ So they start to make little compromises to stay
on the team. Talk about collusion, saying that's what I need to do
to survive and in the process, he has eaten their soul, they’re
lost. So that's what happens to so many people,” Comey said…
