Friday, June 5, 2009, 16:33 [IST] - Melbourne (ANI): A new survey has revealed that nearly half of teenagers believe that Barbadian singer Rihanna was responsible for the alleged beating singer Chris Brown gave her. The survey, conducted on 200 Boston teenagers by the Boston Public Health Commission, discovered that the alleged beating had caused quite a stir among the pop star's teen fans, reports the Daily Telegraph.

The alleged attack on Rihanna has also inspired teenagers to post teen dating violence videos, warning people about the dangers and how to avoid them. It comes as Kanye West recently posted the final version of his song Paranoid, which Rihanna stars in the sinister video clip.

Teen dating violence videos created in response to Rihanna abuse

06/04/2009 - Middlesex County students will vote on the winner of a teen dating violence video contest to use in health and physical education classes. The contest is in response to a Boston Public Health Commission survey that found almost 50% of students believed pop star Rihanna was responsible for the alleged beating she suffered from her boyfriend earlier this year. The six finalist videos, created by high school students, can be viewed here.
