YNW Melly's mug shot
20-year-old Florida rapper YNW Melly,
real name Jamell Maurice Demons, is currently in prison
at the Broward County Jail in South Florida, awaiting
trial on murder charges. Melly was arrested on
allegations he committed a double murder that was
premeditated.
While in jail, Melly has contracted the
coronavirus. His weight has dropped to 114 pounds. He is
experiencing fever, chills and labored breathing. If
that's the case he should be sent to the jail infirmary.
If their medical equipment is insufficient to tackle
coronavirus, he should be sent to a local hospital with
armed guards, rotated in 8-hour shifts, posted to his
room.
I read about the murders Melly is
accused of committing. He stands accused of committing
the 2017 murder of sheriff’s deputy, Gary Chambliss, in
a matter that has not gone to trial at this time. The
case Melly was remanded to jail for pending trial, is in
reference to allegations he staged the murders of two
men, with his friends, then dropped the victims off
outside the hospital door, in trying to make their
deaths look like an accident.
That is psychotic. Melly would be a
danger to hospital staff and other patients if he is
admitted under the wrong circumstances. He is also a
danger to the general public. Additionally, he is also
exhibiting signs of schizophrenia. He cannot be allowed
to roam free. Any medical treatment must be done under
the supervision of an armed guard.
