Rapper TI's Reality Show Loses Advertisers Over Music Video Of Him Having Sex With First Lady Melania Trump Look Alike

Melanie Marden, the woman who appeared naked in a music video for rapper TI, real name, Clifford Harris, is receiving death threats for her disrespectful portrayal of U.S. First Lady Melania Trump. In the music video, the Melania Trump look alike strips naked in the White House’s Oval Office, gets on the president’s desk and opens her legs, while TI smokes a cigar. Then TI leads her upstairs and has sex with her, while President Trump is away.

Marden is now receiving graphic death threats over the music video. Marden stated, “Somebody was going to hit me with their car Somebody was going to take a baseball bat to me. Somebody wished me to get raped and then killed. It was an opportunity for me to step right outside my comfort zone and play the first lady — yes, naked, which I’ve never done before. The first lady’s husband does a lot of bullying himself. So they’ve got some thick skin. If I was insulting her and degrading her, then it would be one thing, but I don’t think I was.”

The First Lady’s spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, denounced the music video stating, “Like it or not, she is the first lady and this is the White House. It's disrespectful and disgusting to portray her this way simply because of politics. These kinds of vulgar attacks only further the divisiveness and bias in our country -- it needs to stop.”

Grishman called for a boycott of TI. One day later there are reports that advertisers have pulled advertising from TI’s reality show. The rapper is short on money right now, as he owes the IRS several million dollars and his music career has stalled.
