Lil Reese

26-year-old rapper Lil Reese is in critical condition in a Chicago a hospital, after being shot in the neck. Reese, real name Tavares Taylor, was shot in an incident that occurred in Markham, Illinois. The shooting occurred while he was in a car at an intersection, when another vehicle opened fire, spraying him with bullets. Police found a massive amount of blood inside and outside the vehicle.

Reese was rushed to the Advocate Suburban Hospital, then transferred to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he is receiving further treatment. Police are searching for the suspect. Reese is a gang member affiliated with fellow rapper Chief Keef. Previously, Reese was caught on tape beating a woman. He has also made enemies in a rival gang by mocking the death of another gang banger, Joseph 'Lil JoJo' Coleman.
