King Von
26-year-old Chicago, Illinois rapper and
gang member, King Von, real name Dayvon Daquan Bennett,
has been shot and killed outside a nightclub in Atlanta,
Georgia. Von moved to Atlanta after launching his rap
career in his hometown and gaining social networking
attention for his music.
The incident occurred yesterday during a
shootout between two groups of people in the club's
parking lot, which began as a fight inside the venue.
Von and two other men died in the incident. Police do
not yet have a motive for the killing. However, it
appears to be gang related. Von served time for murder
in one case (while pending trial) and was the prime
suspect in the killing of two other gang members.
The NPR website stated of the shootout,
"Authorities are still trying to piece together how the
rapper, born Dayvon Daquan Bennett, died, and whether
the Atlanta Police Department was involved in his death,
or that of two other men who were also fatally wounded."
So many people in the entertainment
industry (Hollywood) are dying early in tragic deaths
via violence, drug overdoses and freak occurrences.
There is so much abuse, violence and death in the
industry, it is no longer about entertainment. Hollywood
has literally become Sodom and Gomorrah with the
debauchery, greed, villainy and commissioned murder.
