This past weekend, Jocelyn Savage, who is the ex-girlfriend of pedophile singer, R Kelly, told all on a Patreon webpage she connected to her Instagram account. For a subscription fee, Savage granted members of the public access to information on her terrible and abusive relationship with R Kelly.

Based on published estimates, over 2,000 people subscribed to Savage's page, paying between $3 to $25. A number of the subscribers are members of the press, seeking information to write in their publications, as the R Kelly criminal trial rages in court.

Patreon began sending Savage emails requesting she verify her identity. This is usually done by sending the company a redacted scan or fax of one's identification card or passport. The company stated the emails went unanswered. Therefore, they closed her page and it is being stated in the press Patreon is refunding her subscribers.
