The producer of the "Transformers" film has come out stating, he did not replace, Megan Fox, in the film, remarking her character was written out. Correction - Fox was the main love interest in the film and its resident bimbo, she was fired and a new girl hired, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, as actor Shia Labeouf's on-screen girlfriend. You gave someone else her job. Therefore, you have replaced her. Drop the semantics, already.

It really messed up Fox's career. She lost the heft that was behind her name in Hollywood and is now seen as just another celebrity that blew a major opportunity and had to come back down to earth.
