Pedophilic singer R Kelly has pleaded not guilty to criminal charges which state he bribed a government employee to procure a fake ID for the late singer Aaliyah. Kelly, who was 27 at the time, infamously wed the 15-year-old underage girl, by giving her a fake ID he bought.

Aaliyah's parents had the marriage annulled a year later when they discovered what R Kelly had done. The news was broadcast on MTV News and in Vibe magazine, alerting Aaliyah's parents to the criminal conduct of Kelly regarding their youngest child and only daughter.

It was a shotgun wedding of sorts, as Kelly believed he had impregnated the young star. Kelly, who began working with and preying on Aaliyah when she was 12-years-old, took away her childhood and innocence with his sick behavior. She died in 2001 in a plane crash. Now the pedophile singer is trying to sully her name in death, in pinning the fake ID on the deceased star.

Kelly's lawyer Steven Greenberg stated to ABC News that the singer had "no idea" Aaliyah was 15-years-old when they got married. What a liar. She was constantly promoted as a 14-year-old singer. Kelly knew Aaliyah was an underage girl.

Kelly is now pretending a 15-year-old girl, Aaliyah, tricked him into marriage, when members of his entourage already publicly stated he told them to get a fake ID for her, due to the fact he believed he had impregnated the underage girl. A baby would be evidence of his sex crimes regarding Aaliyah.

In illegally marrying Aaliyah, Kelly assumed it would be more difficult for the government to prosecute him for having sex with a minor, if he was the husband. He then tried to persuade her parents to go along with it, as though they had granted consent in the sordid matter.

However, upon discovering Kelly had illegally wed their underage daughter, Aaliyah's dad, Michael Haughton, became enraged and wanted to beat him up, while her mother, Diane, was devastated. To make matters worse, her parents found out Kelly had not only been sexually abusing their daughter, but physically abusing her as well.
