Paula Abdul Rant Regarding American Idol December 11. 2008
Realizing she was starting to look like a villain, Paula Abdul has been babbling away regarding the suicide death of her stalker Paula Goodspeed. She claims Goodspeed was stalking her for 17 years, even sent her nude photos of herself. Wow, that’s bad. However, she also claims America Idol producers, Simon Cowell and Nigel Lithgow, deliberately brought the stalker on the show for so-called entertainment value.
Paula Abdul trying to distance herself from scandal, but I'm not buying her story In a wrongful death lawsuit, that is not going to look very good. To purposely bring on a mentally ill person with the sole intent of degrading, humiliating and taunting her for laughs on national television was negligent, cruel and encouraging insanity. You clearly made her mental state worse. That’s like putting Britney Spears near an umbrella and SUV, without her meds and telling her the boogieman is inside the vehicle.
American Idol talent judge Simon Cowell pushed stalker over the edge on national TV Paula referred to it as a conspiracy
Seriously, Hollywood denizens can be sick, scheming, manipulative misfits that go to terrible extremes to destroy others in ways that would leave the general public appalled.
American Idol's Simon Fuller Think about it, they could not be decent people and invite a mentally ill person on TV to humiliate and brutally degrading her. Most people would see a red flag and not do such a thing, but clearly all involved in aforementioned incident, including Paula Abdul, did not. What does that tell you about them? Paula Abdul criticizes 'American Idol' producers for letting stalker Paula Goodspeed audition Paula Abdul blames “American Idol” producers for allowing known stalker Paula Goodspeed to get too close to her, according to People.com. Abdul says she told them that Goodspeed had been stalking her for years, but they still brought her in to audition on the show... "She had been writing disturbing letters for 17 years, almost 18 years," Abdul, 46, told Walters. "We had restraining orders at times." On the day of Goodspeed's audition, "Idol" producers told Abdul they had found — and were about to bring in — a fan who was "crazy about" Paula. Abdul objected. "I said, 'This girl is a stalker of mine. Please do not let her in.' Everyone knew. I was shaking." The producers ignored her, saying that they wanted the "entertainment value." ... From then on, Goodspeed sent naked pictures of herself to Abdul and threatened her with "bodily harm" in some letters. "She said the only way I will serve her purpose is when I'm up in heaven being her guardian angel." ...So why is Paula still on “American Idol”? "Well, I'm under contract." |
