Path Of Aggression June 4. 2007
The government's path of aggression in Iraq and in a number of other unrelated matters they are currently embroiled in is dangerous. American diplomacy is dead in the world at the hands of the current administration and Congress. The government is not understanding America's place in this complex world which we live. Playing aggressor will only rattle nerves and provoke violent reactions that aren't soon easily undone. Looking at fighting as the solution to every crisis will end very badly, as there are others in this world who aren't afraid of a battle and provoking them will only bring about trouble. The current administration and Congress need to learn that one life isn't worth more than another, via expediency to reach a goal that is without merit or domestic or international legal foundation. Corruption and conflict breeds disaster. The government is morally challenged, assuming that taking that which does not belong to them, is the way ahead. Hard work is the only true way ahead. Everything else is a detour to disaster. It may look like it's working at first, then it all falls apart over night. Recently there were reports that billions of gallons of Iraqi oil is missing. Iraqi black gold is going to turn into a lump of coal. Parties in the Middle East have issued violent threats if this war continues much longer. They have made declarations and they don't sound like they're kidding. It is unwise to think that certain factions in that region are going to sit back and let their region's resources essentially be strip-mined. You are flirting with disaster. No nation in the world has ever liked being robbed of their resources, labor or money. History has shown governments and nations have gone under for that very thing. This war has just about bankrupted America, sent the cost of living to all time highs and produced violent, furious new enemies in the world, who are issuing very serious threats that are being met with dismissiveness and more aggression. The government is currently operating under the banner of sitting on other nations' money and taking assets (oil and other things) that belongs to others. That's called thievery and villainy. Substantial sums of money are owed to both democratic and communist countries, that the government is once again sitting on or flat out refusing to return. Goods have also been taken and used and no checks tendered to pay for them. 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is operating like this is the 1600's, where countries go around taking and pillaging the assets of other nations, like armies dividing and conquering or pirates looking for loot. This is 2007 and international treaties have been signed that are not being abided by in any measure. This is a recipe for disaster that if Congress allows to continue, will produce disastrous results for America. Democratic and communist governments in the international community are speaking, but the White House is not listening. |
