Paris Hilton Settles Lawsuit With Hallmark September 27. 2010 Paris Hilton Promiscuous, Paris Hilton, sued the Hallmark card company over the usage of the phrase "That's Hot" which she frequently states and trademarked. Neither Hilton or Hallmark are original in this matter, as the phrase has been used by many rappers and in films, as far back as the 1980s (hey, that's as far back as my memory goes). Therefore, for either to sue and stake claim to a phrase neither created or used first in the marketplace, is somewhat ridiculous. Both parties were standing on legally shaky ground in this matter. What's Hilton going to claim she invented next, penicillin and Valtrex. Once again, just because you use something, doesn't mean you came up with it. Over to you, Cocaine R US. STORY SOURCE |
