May 11. 2007 When a parent clearly exhibits the signs of madness, should their children be allowed to remain with them unsupervised. Some parents, though they don't mean to be, are crazy and a danger to their children. For the safety of the child, should there not be a court appointed individual, family or otherwise, required to supervise the household.
What about the kids' rights...not to be placed in harms way or neglected by a parent whose mental state is not correct. To save face and try to keep up appearances, while children are at risk, is wrong. (Photo courtesy of X17) |
