P. Diddy Sued For Song Stealing Again April 7. 2009
Sean Combs (P Diddy) Rapper and label owner Sean Combs A/K/A P Diddy, has been sued again for copyright infringement. Troy Hicks A/K/A Rhythum alleges Diddy has stolen his previously released, copyrighted song "Private Dancer" for his Badboy band Boyz N Da Hood (no wonder kids today can't spell). Diddy was previously sued and lost for using the Isley Brothers' music without permission. A decent judge decided to make an example of him for making millions off stealing intellectual property in violation of federal law. That judge was rare. Here's hoping Warner Bros doesn't drop a bribe in this new infringement case on Diddy's behalf.
