U.S. President, Barack Obama, issued another infamous snub to Britain, by referring to France as "America’s top ally" when traditionally the government reserves that title for the United Kingdom. Obama has displayed an aversion to Britain in dishing out one snub after another, in deeds some journalists attribute to his late dad’s disdain for colonialism, which touched his homeland of Kenya.

Wikileaks leaked cable documents from the U.S. State Department, also saw the government downgrading British soldiers. France is a remarkable country, as is Britain and both have been good allies. Therefore, in the interest of civility and promoting goodwill on behalf of the nation, must the President cause such moments of tension and embarrassment that invariably end up in the paper.
