Obama In Ghana July 10. 2009
President Barack Obama was greeted very warmly on his arrival in Ghana today for a scheduled visit. He is in Africa on company business - the company being the USA.
Since it's summer break, his daughters Sasha and Malia accompanied him on the trip. They've been given a great opportunity to see several countries this year, which is sure to be a learning experience for them.
Obama arrives in Ghana to red carpet welcome ACCRA (AFP) — Barack Obama arrived in Ghana on Friday on his first trip to sub-Saharan African since taking office to a red carpet welcome with thousands lining the streets to catch a glimpse of America's first black president. Obama, the son of an African immigrant, was welcomed at Kotoka international airport in the oceanside capital Accra by Ghana's President John Atta-Mills to traditional Ashante drumming, ululating and dances.
